Our Heritage Leaders events bring together senior people from across heritage, museums, arts and culture to meet, share ideas and discuss the issues shaping the sector.
We run a varied programme throughout the year, including private peer-to-peer roundtables, monthly drinks, cultural visits, workshops and our annual Heritage Leaders Mastermind Dinners.
We also host monthly online masterminds for smaller groups of leaders who want to discuss challenges, exchange advice and learn from one another in a more focused setting.
Many of our events are informal and social, from gallery and museum visits to guided walks, café meetups, pub drinks and restaurant gatherings. Most in-person events are held in London, typically on a Tuesday or Thursday.
Who can apply
How it works
Our events are designed to be useful, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. Each month, we host an online mastermind via Google Meet, bringing together a small group of senior leaders from across the heritage, arts and cultural sectors to share ideas, discuss challenges and learn from one another.
Alongside this, we run a varied programme of social networking and cultural events. These might include a private visit to a museum or gallery, a guided walk, coffee in a café, lunch at a restaurant, or informal drinks in a pub after work. Our in-person events are usually casual, welcoming and social, often with complimentary drinks and plenty of time for open conversation.
We also offer training workshops and presentations, as well as opportunities for attendees to share their own ideas, experiences and projects with a trusted group of peers.
Have a venue or topic in mind?
We’re always open to ideas from people across the heritage, arts and cultural sectors. If you have a venue that would make an interesting setting for one of our events, or a topic you think would spark a useful conversation, we’d love to hear from you.
This could be anything from a museum, gallery, historic building, café, pub, restaurant or walking route, through to a theme, challenge or question you feel other leaders would benefit from exploring. We’re particularly interested in ideas that encourage open discussion, fresh perspectives and meaningful connections across the sector.
What does it cost?
Our Heritage Leaders events and online masterminds are free to attend, including food, drinks and entertainment where provided. For some events, there may be an optional charity donation, but this is always voluntary, anonymous and with absolutely no expectation to contribute.
We run these events because we genuinely care about the heritage, arts and cultural sectors, and enjoy creating spaces where leaders can meet, share ideas and support one another. From time to time, these relationships may naturally lead to future projects or collaborations with Heritage Creative, which helps us continue investing in free events, training and opportunities for the wider community.
