Web Design for the Heritage Sector

We design bespoke websites for the heritage sector and we have a large portfolio of work created for many organisations across the UK. Our mission is simple: to create outstanding websites to help our clients showcase, record, preserve and promote the culture, history and heritage that they represent.

Driven by a passion for Heritage, Culture and History

We have worked with charities, historic groups, heritage archives, photographic archives, conservation organisations and artists and makers of all kinds over 18 years of business.

Our work has received much recognition and has featured in the international press numerous times as well as being cited by The Home Office as an example of best practice.

Experienced in Excellence

Our parent company, Voodoochilli, was set up in the early 2000s and we worked with a very broad range of clients, not only from the heritage sector, but also across education, industry and the commercial sectors. Heritage Creative is solely focused on Heritage and all within it and we use the contemporary skills we have learned to bring history, culture and heritage to life.

Perfectly Positioned

We are located near the history-rich city of Hereford, once the Saxon capital of West Mercia. Our studio is a stone’s throw from the iconic 12th Century Cathedral which is home to the world famous Mappa Mundi, the largest medieval map known to exist. The Cathedral is also home to the equally famous Chained Library, the largest surviving chained library in the world which contains many fantastically preserved books and manuscripts from the 8th Century onwards.

Environment is Heritage

The Royal Society of Arts places Herefordshire in the top 3% of the Heritage Index for Historic Built Environment - the highest score outside of London itself. We are strong believers that environment has a meaningful impact upon the people that live and work within it, part of the reason we are so passionate about the preservation of heritage.

Our Design Studio

Our studio is based in a converted barn on a farm in a lovely little north Herefordshire village called Stoke Prior. The barn is a large open plan space complete with beautiful old exposed beams We believe that great surroundings make for the best of kind of work and we cherish not only this beautiful old building but the countryside all around us.
